Will the following family responsibility be useful to put on my application if I have no other ecs?

Parents owned a restaurant from when I was in third grade to end of ninth grade. Spent all my time after school and weekends there, helping out when needed. Taking orders/restocking stuff/etc.

Yes this can be a useful detail to demonstrate how to deal with the responsibility. It will have a positive impact on your application. But all it needs is to be written in a good essay. It is a good topic and will have an overall +ve impact

Essay as in a supplemental essay, or the personal statement one?

You could include that in your personal statement, but I wouldn't have that be the main topic.
