Admission Advise for an Indian student studying in CBSE based school

I currently studying in a CBSE based school , in class 11th and as an 11th grader , I am also preparing for JEE and KVPY like exam . And I wanna know the things that I should keep in mind during these years and to make a do-list, which can help my application to stand out

Do a lot of extracurriculars,olympiads ,internships,get great letter of recommendations,take the sat earlier in your junior year so you have the time to retake it if you want,start the college application process early in your grade 12..also jee and sat are two totally different exams so you should gain a better clarity on what you are finally doing by your 12th grade…thats all i can suggest ..hope you have. Start doing lots of extracurriculars. Colleges look for students with several EC activities. Also, you should take the SAT. Don't wait until your senior year to take it. You need to take any AP classes that your school offers and start researching for college requirements for your universities of choice. Make sure you are diligent in your classes so you can improve your GPA. And get at least two letters of recommendation (also called LORs) from teachers, a college counselor, or your principal.
