How to start a research project?
Answered

I have been wanting to write my own research paper for a while related to social justice because I am very passionate about it, but I don't know where to start. Do I have to have an internship in order to write one in hopes of it getting published? I have never had anyone really explain the process to me before, so any input is helpful.

I would just start with brainstorming what you specifically want to research! Figure out if you can add something to the discussion/where you could get it published; are there journals that might be interested? If you're in college, see if your school has a student publication for academic writing, you can probably submit it to them. If you're in high school, see if the local college might be interested in publishing for you. Hope that helps!
