Sending SAT Scores
Answered

Hey! This might sound like a dumb question, but do I have to OFFICIALLY send colleges my SAT score? For example, I am applying early action for Binghamton and I am planning to send them my 1350 (which is around the average for nursing). Can I simply fill out my SAT information on Common App and call it a day? If a college needs my official SAT score, how soon should I send it? Thanks!!

You can call it a day for now. But if you get accepted, you have to log into CollegeBoard, pay the $12 or whatever it is, and send it to Binghamton by May 15th the deadline.

If you would like to include ACT or SAT scores with your application, there are two ways that you can provide scores.

Send scores directly from the testing agency to Binghamton University.

Self-report and confirm scores using your status checker. You can self-report multiple scores. Note: Athletes, international students and students living outside of the U.S. who wish to submit SAT/ACT scores must send official scores directly from the testing agency.

If you self-reported scores and then enroll at Binghamton, you must submit official scores from the testing agency by May 15.

Submitting false or inaccurate information will result in offers of admission being rescinded.

ACT: Our ACT code is 2956. Contact ACT for more information.
