What should I my EC as?

So I have gone through my profile and updated my ECs and cant for my life figure out how to list my activity. (Rising Junior)

I am an office assistant at my synagogue religious school (Pre-K to 6th) and make $5/hour under the table for 4 hours a week I have it under employment tier I. I can change my wage to community service but I don't want to.

Essentially I track attendance enter it into the system (excel) make copies help with a few oddjobs and I supervise/sit by kids during service.

Does your chancing change at all depending on what you list it as? I would imagine regardless of if you list this as community service or employment the tiers would be pretty similar. Personally I would list this as community service. You're only working 4 hours a week and you're getting paid under the table (which I wouldn't mention on your common app).

If for some reason your chances change in a significant way by how you list this activity then I would pick the one which gives you better chances and list it that way on the common app too.

You can list it in both and say that its community service but you get paid for it, but you would have to describe it in such a way. You could probably describe what you do with the kids and how it impacts them. If what you're job is doing relates to serving your community, then you can describe how it affects your community and what you specifically are doing. Hope this helps!
