I have an instagram account with 2k+ followers and I express my handlettering skills. Would this be an extracurricular?
Answered

Hi,

I've been running this account for a year now, and I really like handlettering and I wanted to share them with others and perhaps inspire them as well. I was wondering if this could be counted as an extracurricluar for college applications?

All kinds of help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi @Teja.sviii!

Definitely! You're using Instagram as a platform to showcase your unique handlettering skills, one of your hobbies/extracurriculars. Similar to what @HelloHome said, I would put down handlettering as the activity and then mention the Instagram in the description. I would also include the number of followers you have (+ any other stats that can help admissions officers understand the magnitude of your project).

Hope this helped!

Dude, I agree with the comment below. It's not that important what you're saying. What's important is that you're basically doing it. Because if you already have a small audience, then you're doing good. So I don't think you should stop in your direction. In a way, it could really help someone in getting into college. I also think that this kind of work should be more appreciated. For this, you may need https://famoid.com/buy-instagram-likes/, which is a way to find your target audience. Once the number of likes on your posts increases. Your profile is more likely to get into recommendations, which means it will be easier for you to find interested people.

Definitely, it sounds unique and really fun, which is what colleges are looking for! BTW, what’s the accounts name? XD.
