I was wanting to apply to a college early decision but I was wondering if I got rejected ED could I reapply regular decision? This is my top school and if I could reapply I would add or remove something from my application to help strengthen it if that makes sense! Thanks so much!
At most colleges, if you do not get accepted during their ED/EA acceptance period, then you are automatically put into the batch for regular decision. This isn't the case at all schools, so I would recommend emailing or calling your admission counselor to see if they do this!
Good luck on your college admission journey!

If you get rejected ED, you are done for the entire application cycle.
You do not get put into the RD pool.
You can not apply to the RD pool.
The only way you get into the RD pool is if you are deferred, then the college will inform of the ED decision date.
If you got deferred, then yes they will reconsider you if you reapply, but since you got rejected, you cannot reapply. This may not be the best news, but it's the reality. Good luck with your other colleges!

This is not accurate at all. If you are rejected you are done. You are not automatically put into the RD pool unless you are deferred.
