Stanford Admission
Answered

Hello, I am thinking of applying REA for Stanford. I did "okay" on my SAT and have a score of 1490. My GPA without consideration of my freshman year is not bad and was wondering if submitting SAT would hurt my chance. Should I submit my SAT score? This is not a chance-me question.

Your 1490 SAT score is not going to hurt you if you submit it, however if you omit it I feel it will certainly lessen your chances regardless of what cycle you apply to.

Good luck.

Submit it for sure. It definitely won't hurt your chances. Unless you plan to retake the SAT, and know you can do better, I say go for it. Good luck!
