So far I've reviewed about 5-6 essays and hadn't known what the authors think of my review. I always make sure my reviews are of-quality and really point out mistakes in an essay, so I want to know if the authors find my feedback helpful.
About a month ago, I only see my average rating in my profile. Now, it is removed. Why is that? (Or maybe I just couldn't find it. If that's the case, can someone tell me where to find it?)
I think getting to see each of our ratings is essential if you want users to provide quality reviews. How will they know if their reviews are helpful or useless?
I'm pretty sure some reviewers here use some form of flattery just to get that 5 star rating. I haven't experienced that with my essays but every time I submit an essay I'm always afraid that it'll land on the hands of someone who gives poor-quality reviews. If ever that happens, I would give that reviewer a rating as low as 1 star. Now, how will that reviewer know how bad their feedback was if they can't see their rating?
I don't see any reason why CollegeVine is holding back from letting us see our ratings. I hope they fix this soon.
A reviewer can only see feedback on their review if they get a 5/5.

I agree. I recently started reviewing and always take my time to make sure the answers are quality and point out things in the essay. I wish I could get feedback for the responses I write!
