Does reporting your test score have to be on the same time as submitting your application?
Answered

Hey!

I was just wondering about the deadline for reporting my TOEFL score to universities. For example, if I submit my application by December 1st for a school that has a regular admission deadline only in January, do I have to report my TOEFL in December itself or do I have time until January?

Thanks a ton!

Ideally you should submit test scores (ACT, SAT, TOEFL, etc.) at least 2 weeks ahead of the deadlines so that the scores arrive with your application. However, most schools are actually okay with the scores arriving slightly after the deadlines, but make sure to submit them as soon as possible!

Most schools give you an extra two-four weld to submit test scores. You can check their deadlines on their admissions page. Many also allow you to self report scores as long as they are accurate.

For the college I am thinking about applying to I can submit my application and then update my scores later.
