Early Action and Regular Decision
Answered

For most of my schools, I am applying early action, but I am wondering if I submit a second time for regular decision will my early application be shown still? Also, does early action give me a better chance at getting in, and if so, how much does this impact?

1. You can not submit more than 1 application to any college during 1 admission cycle. If you do you risk your application being removed.

2. For some school early action improves your probability of getting in. For other schools like MIT, Harvard, etc, the benefits are marginal because you are competing with a much strong pool of applicants plus legacies, recruited athletes, development candidates, kids of school employees, and VIPs like celebrities or Nobel winners. The difference between EA and RD at MIT was less than 1%. Applying EA to less competitive schools may give you higher chances.

Good luck.
