What are the college board national recognition programs?
Answered

I got an email telling me to apply for some of the specific thing? And I just don't know what this is. I was wondering if anyone could explain. Just please give me any kind of context, or even if this is something important.

Hello!

I would definitely apply for the College Board Recognition Program if you still are able to. I was uncertain on what it was as well, but still applied for the Indigenous Recognition program as well. I received it right away, and it was quite easy to apply for. Later I discovered that the program is essentially an “academic honor” that can earn you scholarships at particular colleges based on merit and ethnic background. It also looks excellent on scholarship and college applications.

Hope this helps!
