Admissions Advice

Is it worth it to apply for programs like RSI?
Answered

I'm currently a junior right now and I am in the IB Program at my high school. I got 1520 on my SAT and I have a 4.0 GPA. I want to apply to Emory University.

Why not? It can only help in your application process. If I were an admissions officer, I would be highly impressed to see that a student did this program.

Of course, if you really don't want to do it, then I don't think you should. It seems to be a very rigorous program. There's other ways to make your application really strong (which it seems you already have done). However, this is one of those great opportunities that should definitely be considered; and if you do it, it'll probably expand your horizons in many new ways.
