Ways to end essays

In your opinion, what do you believe to be the best way to end a personal essay? Is it one that impacts the reader and leaves them sitting back in their chair and thinking, "wow", or is it one that ends like a lightbulb burning out?

Alt question: What are ways I can end an essay that has an impact on the reader?

Also please give an example if possible, it would be nice to see what kind of endings go with what scenario.

I think a good way to end an essay is to reiterate what you said in the main part, while also adding something that will leave a lasting impression on the reader. For example, if you're writing about a certain experience or event, talking about the lasting effect on your identity or life would help emphasize your personal qualities and growth. Some essays often choose to end abruptly, but it's probably a better idea to end with something profound or reflective that will help the reader better understand you as a person.

The best way to end an essay, in my opinion, is to leave the reader/viewer feeling something. This makes them think and understand your point of view.

I think that the best way to end an essay is to conclude the previous said. The reader should make some impression about you, for example. Preferably, good impression.

Firstly end on a theme or a lesson that you learn from your experience. Then relate this to how you will use this in the future.
