National Student Leadership Conference
I received an invitation from the National Student Leadership Conference and was wondering if the program is worth the money, and if the experience is worth it. I just wanted to see if anyone else has attended the programs and had thoughts on it.

From a quick skim, it says that they email a ton of people (just like colleges do), so being "invited" doesn't mean you're special, they just want as many people as possible to pay 3k-6k (for just 1-2 weeks tops) because they're for profit. It has some benefits, but it seems you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

I attended last year and enjoyed it a lot. I can not speak for how it impacts a college application but strictly out of enjoyment, I would recommend it.
Attending these will NOT help you whatsoever in your college admissions process. They are made up organizations with made up agendas with made up promises. It's no different that those Trump Real Estate seminars that were charging $5000 to attend promising that you'd learn all of the trade secrets of Trump's investing in real estate.
The best use for those invites are the recycling bin and clicking unsubscribe if you received them via email.
