I think so, especially when compared to other chancing calculators. Although, you do have to remember that Collegevine doesn't take into account your essay when calculating the acceptance rate.

The college vine chancing rates are the best in the industry compared to other probability calculators. I think the margin of error is less than 5% across all different types (Hard Reaches, Reaches, Hard Targets, Targets and Safeties)

To benefit from the best possible guess, make sure you include as much accurate data as possible including race and other demographic information, all test scores, and fine tune your ECs as much as possible.

I hope this answers your questions to your satisfaction.

There's a lot that collegevine takes into account but primarily it doesn't take into account some of the crucial parts of the process. That being Essays, letters of recommendation, unusual circumstances and real-time profile analysis.

So there's hope and chance beyond the collegevine calculator.

It is accurate to a certain extent as it does not take into account recommendation letters I think.
