Non-Trad students and the 2+4 med programs

My son graduated from high school a while ago, he took a year of community college and then switched to a university in a business program. At that point he realized he didn't like the program and decided he would go to medical school. Can he still apply to those 2+4 med programs or does he have to do a 4 yr bsc and then apply?

Unfortunately accelerated BS/MD are only for top ranking HS seniors in America. I do not know about schools outside of the US.

If your son wants to become a doctor, he should finish his B.S. degree and graduate with a 3.7-4.0 GPA and have a high MCAT score at least a 515 out of possible 528.

Good luck to him.
