I'm currently writing an essay about what brings me joy for Brown University. I already wrote one about Latin Certamen, and how it's a game that I really love and how much it truly brings me joy. However, I recently thought of writing about Survivor, the reality show, as it may bring about a side of me that my application doesn't mention anywhere else. Which one should I go with? Help pls

I would choose Latin Certamen, as long as you don't write about it elsewhere in your Brown application. It's much easier to write about intellectually. Reality TV is stereotypically seen as very anti-intellectual, very shallow, so it will be a lot harder to write about.
