High school courses taken before high school on transcript??

As someone who has taken high school credit classes in middle school, I understand how it feels. Unfortunately, those grades will appear on your high school transcript since they are technically high school credit classes that you just happened to take in middle school.

However, it could depend on how your specific school and district chooses to look at classes taken before high school itself. The best course of action would be to contact your school counselor and ask them what your transcript will and will not include, and they should give you a very thorough answer.

Although it does sound daunting, I would strongly encourage you not to be scared of your grades from 8th grade. Colleges look at you holistically and your growth as a high schooler; they understand that you took the challenge of doing high school classes as an 8th grader. If anything, your grades from middle school should affect you much, if at all, in the college application process.
