Word Limit
Answered

Hey! I am currently looking at some colleges and their writing supplement for when I apply next year, and I noticed that some colleges on the prompt asks: please write in between (100-250 words) yet on the space to write, the word limit is 350 words. Would you recommend that you write in between the word count they asked for at the prompt, or the maximum word count you can put?

Thank you very much

Hello!

I would personally recommend that you guide yourself with the word count that is on the prompt. Remember that admission officers cant spend all day just looking at your application, so if you waste more time on an essay you probably don't think gives you a full view as to who you are, then you are just losing the time the admission officer has on you :)

Best of luck!
