I am an international student from the Philippines. I am currently a junior and I'm aiming for MIT and Stanford. What are some interesting extracurriculars that are physics related for me to consider taking
Hi @one-ferido! Being part of a physics-related club, participating in Physics Olympiad, and doing physics research (and participating in science competitions) are some things that come to mind when I think of physics-related extracurriculars. All of these will look strongly on your application if you've been committed to them for a while. If you are struggling to find activities and extracurriculars that are specific to physics, try to get involved in STEM related extracurriculars to expand your knowledge in that field and demonstrate to admissions officers that you want to study something STEM-related in the future.
Here's a helpful article from our blog on other types of physics extracurriculars to pursue: https://blog.collegevine.com/extracurriculars-for-high-schoolers-interested-in-studying-the-physical-sciences/
Hope that helps!
