Okay, so I wanna get into a college with either a journalism program or film and I was wondering what extracurriculars would look good to get into one.

If you want to apply to a journalism program I would have these ECs on my application
-Editor in Chief of your school newspaper
-Creator or editor of your schools creative writing journal. If your school doesn't have one, start one.
-Contributing writer to your Hometowns local Newspaper. So that means writing articles that your community reads.
-Submitting creative writing pieces and winning awards for them, either for notoriety or scholarship money.
If you want to apply to a film program I would have these ECs on my application
-HS school videographer
-Content creator on YouTube, TikTok
-Direct and produce your own short films
-Submit your films to various contests and win awards either for notoriety or scholarship money.
-Join or start a film club at your school.
