Help me?

Say I wanted to major in something that has to do with writing, would I need to have a story with my college app? If so, how long would it have to be?

I am unsure of what you mean by "story", most college applications have the common app essay or just a personal essay and some colleges have supplemental essays, but these are essays not stories. If you wanted to major in writing I would make sure your essays are really good and well-written! The personal essay is 650 words and the supplemental vary. Most are under 500 words, with some being extremely short like 100 words. Some schools have you submit an essay you have written in class or a poem/creative writing assignment but that is usually rarer for colleges.
