Science class for senior year!
Answered

My only options for senior year are AP Physics, Physiology. My interest is in the biosciences. I really want to take Physiology but my parents think I should take a course that is AP or an Honors course to show rigor of senior year. My science coursework so far has bee biology (Freshman), Chemistry (outside school), Physics (Soph.), AP Bio (Junior). Will it hurt my profile if I do take Physiology? (I will have a total of 4 APs in senior year without the science AP)

I think that you should choose Physiology. Your course rigor is already reasonable given your circumstances - this is key, since admissions committees review your academics in context. They will receive a school report from your guidance counselor which will explain that you only had two science options for senior year and less APs to choose from than what some other schools offer. They will keep this in mind and will mainly evaluate you not based on your total number of APs, but to what extent you utilized your academic resources to the max.

I recommend highlighting your specific interest in physiology in your "Why Major" essay (without directly explaining why you chose Physiology over AP Physics, as these details are not necessary). This will show that an intellectual interest explains your class choices. Hope this helps!
