International Relations/Government extracurricular ideas?
I’m a current sophomore but I will be entering my junior year in the fall. I am wondering if you guys have any ideas for international relations or government-related extracurriculars that you are pursuing (in/out of school)! I am currently in Mock Trial and Model UN and International Club and have been for a couple years now but I just want to know if there area more in-school activities that are out there that I could pursue. Thanks in advance :)
I'm in MUN too!! You could also start a community organization club that helps law based orgs, I think William and Mary have law based summer camps online but you'd have to check that out. student gov and debate are also great. You're already doing a lot in gov-based extracurriculars, and you're on the right path! Internships (which are probably canceled now) also look great because of workbased experience, online volunteering, and passion projects are also great! Stay safe, and good luck.
A blog about different countries could work I personally use google sites its easy and free.
You could also start a youtube channel and publish videos of a basic tour guide of each country called an American Idiots guide to ___
EX when you arrive in morocco you typically touch down at a airport in casablanca. A few things to note even if you know Arabic dialects heavily differ like a boston accent to an LA accent except on steroids. If you are ever in a bazaar an open air market it is actually encoarged to haggle blah blah
Some of the less impactful one would be learn new language volunteer for ___ drive for insert suffering group or something similar.
