I was absent for my final for world history (each class is a semester at my school) so this semester I have to take a credit recovery class. Will the credit recovery class affect my chances of getting into a good school?
My school doesn't offer this, and I'm not 100% sure why you would have to do that if you just missed the final, but I wanted to offer some reassurance.
If you work hard for everything else, do a good amount of extracurriculars, do well on your essays, and do well on the credit recovery class, it will not affect your chances as much. Work hard on the other aspects that colleges look at and you'll be fine!

the reason I failed was the final was 20% and I had an 80 something before and since I didn't take it I got a 0 and as a result, I failed said class.
