Hey guys! I am so thankful to all of you for your help. I posted the previous question yesterday and received the answer soon after. Thank you again. I just wanted to know how sure should I be about the safety schools. I checked my chancing of a few universities and it was above 98%. Should I consider that this is one school I can be sure about my selection?
Basically, round off anything above 90% to 100%. I got accepted at a 96% university in November 2021, and their application deadline is end of May 2022(six months prior to the application deadline).
I wouldn't bother applying to a school that had a 98% chancing acceptance rate unless you really want to go there because of financial reasons or you need to be close by because of family or responsibility reasons.
Anything 80%-90% should suffice as a safety school.
Good luck

Seriously, what's the point about applying to any school above 95% chancing? Unless your family insists you attend such a school because it's in state, 99+% applicants would just be wasting the application fee.
