What are some ways I can find my spike in social justice/debate?
Answered

In the future, I hope to be a lawyer. I would like to be able to go to a prestigious college that will lead me to the path of success, but I'm not sure how to spike when my high school doesn't have a debate team or a mock trial team. Additionally, I haven't found any social justice volunteer opportunities in my community. I'm not sure I would even accomplish a spike without these things.

Please help!

There is a summer program for high schoolers called ISD: https://ispeechanddebate.com/

Or try the American Debate league: https://www.americandebateleague.org/

There are many camps you can attend. You should think about adding skills to your skillset instead of showing something on your college resume

social justice volunteer opportunities should be from the heart, not because they look good on the college application. Only you know what you need to do.

If you're looking to help people in your community, you can try going to mutualaidhub.org and seeing if there are any opportunities near you.
