Is there any point in bothering with applying now?
Answered

I'm a dual enrollment student with homeschool (Senior) and a local community college. I've never planned on going the "traditional" route of HS -> 4-year and I still intend to utilize the guaranteed transfer agreement that my CC has with my ideal 4-year. Is there any point in even thinking about applying to other colleges? My college GPA is a 4.0, I've made the Dean's list, etc, I meet all the requirements for transferring twice over. Is it worth it to send in applications to 4-years at all? Would it potentially garner me any benefits?

At the end of the day, it's up to you.

You could gain plenty by applying to a better four-year college and doing the routine, however, if it's not something you want or need to do then you might not be interested.

If that four-year college is your ideal option then go for it, you'll be fine.

If you have any interest at all in getting into a more prestigious school, then go ahead and apply, can't hurt.
