Admissions Advice

If you aren't able to take advanced courses, does that hurt your college admission chances?
Answered

During high school, I wanted to take 2 advanced classes, AP Psychology and Dual PreCalculus, in the 11th grade. However, during the summer, my school's counselors added a new required class for all juniors, and my AP Psych class was replaced, and my Dual Precal class was put down to Honors Precal. Will this hurt my college admission chances since this was out of my control?

if you were not given an opportunity to take them, then no. But remember, your school will send colleges a list of all courses that were offered to you.
