Thinking of a project but not sure how to go about it?
Answered

Update: I’m creating a website where like every other week, I’ll have a highlighted POC youth that has done something really cool in STEAM. there’ll be a short article about them and I’ll add an original art / animated gif of them and the thing they do. there might be a special feature thing that I’d post every once in awhile on YouTube based on the months theme (like pride month, Asian history month, etc) just to add some more content

I’m not really sure about the technicalities and whatnot so I’ll probably need a co-creator and someone who’s good with animation ^-^ im taking a qualitative vs quantitative class with EDx rn so I can make a good survey for interviewsss

Thank you all for the suggestions !!

Yes, this is a great idea! It's always cool to colleges to show that you care about world issues. For example, I'm a sophomore who's currently working on their spike and I'm the VP of a non-profit that focuses on mental health education, along with leading webinars that have <100 participants! Working on this sounds really cool, and if you ever need my help I'd be glad you join you! To give you some more ideas to add to this, you could do something like "POC in stem", or you could start an art or journalism magazine at your school that focuses on POC. I think you have some really cool ideas, and starting a YT channel would be really cool to colleges! Good luck!!!

Sounds like a great idea to me! I hope you can interview some interview some interesting people and write up some interesting columns about them and/or produce some video interviews. A website with an associated Youtube channel sounds like the best and most impressive route here to me. You could maybe even organize some online events (like virtual lectures and discussions led or facilitated by some of the people you're hoping to showcase). Good luck!
