I applied to NYU and my English teacher agreed to write and submit a letter. I even followed up with her. Turns out she never did which means my application wasn’t completed. Is there is anything I can do?
I'm so sorry that this happened to you! I found this blog post from College Vine (https://blog.collegevine.com/what-if-my-recommender-never-sent-their-letter/#:~:text=Call%20the%20Admissions%20Office%20Immediately,need%20a%20response%20right%20away.) that gives recommendations for what to do. I hope this is helpful! Also, I had a situation where I had to ask a recommender last minute and then she still didn't turn my letter in until 2 weeks later. I found that my schools were generally accepting when I called and explained the situation (they know it's not your fault that your recommender isn't responsible). If you get an extension and your current recommender can get their letter in, then hopefully that should work out. However, if you have to ask a new recommender last minute (like I did), I would recommend being as helpful as possible with the process. For example, give them your resume, essay samples, go ahead and walk them through the common app upload process or give them the admissions offices' emails - just anything that makes their life a tiny bit easier. I also would recommend showing your appreciation as much as possible. Depending on your relationship with this person, that could be a handwritten note or flowers, whatever feels right. I hope this is helpful and good luck!!!!
I agree with Transfer's answer! Make sure to contact the admissions office as soon as you can, and sincerely express your interest in NYU. I wish you the best of luck!
It is too late since the decisions are already out. Nothing you can do.

Alexander, why are you enouraging a person to waste time after decisions are out? A person did not complete an application to NYU correctly and NYU does not care why.
