Low GPA but took AP/Honors
Answered

Hi There,

I actually used the simulator was was shocked that I had that many safety schools. My GPA is 3.7 weighted because I took a lot of honors and AP. My GPA unfortunately went down in my junior year because the were very challenging. I will probably end up with C+ in AP classes. That said, i actually put in my stats and it said colleges like Rutgers have a 90% acceptance. However when i google, they say rutgers wants higher GPA's 3.9 and above. Wondering if there is an issue with the chancing calculator or can I actually get in.

3.7 is not that far off. and if your application looks otherwise fair you have a good chance of getting in.
