Hi there! I have a question regarding summer opportunities for high schoolers. I've been applying to internships and other summer programs but I keep getting rejected. Do you happen to have any suggestions or advice on how to secure a summer internship or program spot. Please let me know!
Greetings teddybear,
Keep applying, write better essays each time, and dig deep into your "spike." See what I mean here: https://blog.prepscholar.com/how-to-get-into-harvard-and-the-ivy-league-by-a-harvard-alum
Call business, visit them, and ask to speak with someone who may be able to give you an internship, network through LinkedIn if you're 16, etc.
Eventually, it will appear that they may lose out by not inviting you.
Also, check the grade level requirement for summer opportunities. Usually, that's what Juniors going into their Senior year worry about.
Regards,
Eric
are you looking for EC's or are you looking for experience for your major?
