Which tier?
Answered

Hello, hope you're doing well. I'm not sure which tier one of my extracurriculars is. I run a non-profit business that makes around 15K a year, but I didn't start it, I was chosen to succeed after the founder graduated. The business has been around for 5 years and I've run it for two.

The higher tier descriptions say that you "started" a business/non-profit, but I didn't technically start it, I just manage it.

Does that put me at a lower tier?

That's a really good point. If only there was a way to write in your own tier. You wouldn't want to undermine the work that you put in. Has the previous owner been providing you any financial aid for running their business? If it is completely your own at this time, i'd say take the higher tier.

Hi!

To be quite honest, if you are truly independent in the work you are doing to manage it, I would place it at the higher tier. Especially since, on the college application, you can write a short summary about it where you can explain your accomplishments.

Hope this helped!

I would consider this just below the highest tier, so put whatever that is.
