Admissions Advice

Are these good classes?
Answered

Hello!

This fall I’ll start my Junior year and I just wanted a bit of insight on my classes I plan to take. (For college I plan to get a degree in something art related but I haven’t decided exactly what now)

I plan to take Astronomy CP, Marine science H, Art 2 H, Art3 H, English 4, Geometry CP, Personal finance & US History.

For my senior year I’ll probably finish up my credits along with taking an AP art course and a dual credit English course at my local community college.

I definitely think the classes you are taking are great! CP classes show colleges that you are ready for college and they help you be prepared for college. If you are interested in majoring in art, taking many art classes and that AP art course senior year will be incredibly beneficial and show colleges what you are interested in. Additionally, dual credit classes also show academic rigor to colleges and prove beneficial. I hope this gave you the insight you wanted!!
