There's cause for hope - you still have two years of high school left to increase your GPA! Here are my recommendations to improve your academic performance:

1. Ask your teachers if you can do any extra credit before this academic year ends

2. Prioritize your academics over the next two years. Continue to do extracurriculars that demonstrate a spike, but consider forgoing ECs that stand out less like sports below the Varsity level.

3. Take the most rigorous course load you can for the next two years. Boosting your weighted GPA will compensate for grades that are not perfect.

Hope this helps!

Definitely ask your teachers for extra credit projects, or to retake a bad test or quiz grade. If your teachers won't let you do that, you can also talk to your guidance or college counselor about credit recovery.

I would suggest talking to teachers about what you can do; you can also see if you can do any summer opportunities. If there is no way out really focus on your grades junior year; this will also show colleges that you grew as a person and tried to improve

The situation is difficult. Especially emotionally. But it can be corrected if you are interested in the success of the exams. The least I can recommend is to study different text, literature, or essays. So that when writing there are no errors and delays. Then you can, having studied a lot of materials, increase your vocabulary and train your brain for the amount of knowledge.

Be willing to change yourself every day and get used to a new and productive life. Balance duty and desires and do not exhaust yourself with many responsibilities; you have to enjoy your tasks and for that, you have to see duty as a way to improve not as something you must get done. You will not make any miracles but you still have two more years to change your grades, GPA, and personal goals.

2.0 isn't horrible. it definitely shouldn't be sustained that low, but you should be ok since your grade usually isn't this low.

Unfortunately, one bad year can really negatively affect your average GPA. I am currently a junior with a 4.0 GPA but in my sophomore year, I did poorly and finished with around a 3.1

This continues to negatively impact my average GPA, BUT colleges look for upward trends in your grades. This is very good for you since you are only a sophomore.

If you challenge yourself this next junior year and receive good grades while maintaining a rigorous schedule, colleges will notice. As long as your grades continue to improve throughout high school, you will be fine.

Because vastly improving your GPA is so difficult, I would focus more on your test scores and academic rigor. An extremely rigorous schedule can make up for a poor average in some cases. Have you tried taking the SAT or ACT already?
