I'm a sophomore who wants to get into a very prestigious school and be a lawyer. Are there any recommended summer programs that not only increase my chances of getting into a good school, but incorporate law in some way?
Hi! I'm also planning to pursue a career in law and government. Here are some of my general tips for increasing your chances, you can directly intern for politicians or work as a legislative assistant for a candidate you support. I typically use Indeed to find internships and jobs. Or I will go to a Politician or candidate's website and find opportunities there.

Try seeing if you can land an internship with a local law office. Your local public defenders probably have some summer internship programs. I'm not sure if the application is still open but last summer I did NSLC's Law and Advocacy program and it was life changing. You get really good connections and learn a lot.
