Hi, I'm an international student who is taking AP Computer Science Principles this year.
I don't like posting my questions on unofficial forums, so although this isn't really related to college admissions, I was wondering if I could still get answers here since my question is about a high school course.
Basically, I just submitted my digital portfolio (or Create Performance Task) yesterday, and today morning, I decided to check again. One of the requirements for the video says that it is supposed to be in mp4 format. However, in 'Folder', the video type is said to be an MPEG video. I got confused so I tried to download the video from the app that I used and I clicked "Export as mp4" again just to make sure, and when I clicked on it, I realized that in 'Folder', it says MPEG video. The title of the video clearly says .mp4, though, so I'm kind of confused.
Also, when I try converting the MPEG video to an mp4 using a free video converter, it gets downloaded as MPEG video.
Would this be an issue? I'm not sure if my other friends are having the same problem.
Thank you.
Congratulations on making it this far, I just submitted too. I would use a converter or just try and rerecording it using screencastify.
I would try using a different converter and see if you can successfully save your new file as an.MP4 file format. There are plenty of free converters available so it should cost anything just some more time to make sure you are submitting your file in the correct format so the college can properly review your submission. Good luck.
