Admissions Advice

What kind of opportunities are for someone who wants to go into engineering in the future?
Answered

I'm a freshman in high school. I'm pretty sure I want to be an engineer, specifically in the aerospace industry. What would I be able to do that's related to the field of aerospace engineering or space? Also, how would I be able to find those opportunities? Who would I need to talk to?

I should probably also mention I live in PA, so there isn't any nearby stuff for NASA or anything like that.

I recommend doing the extracurriculars listed in this CollegeVine blog post and the summer programs listed in this other post. You can join extracurriculars at your school by talking with club leaders, or you can start your own chapter of a club by talking with your teachers or state/national club leaders. You can participate in summer programs by applying to each one. Hope this helps!
