Admissions Advice

Do Not Know my Rank.

So personally I have never wanted to know my rank. However, I do get all A's and have decent ACT scores (not the best). I really want to go to UT so should I find out my rank soon or just let a few people know it and tell me what to do?

Since University of Texas has an auto-admit cutoff of in-state Texas resident, you should ask your high school counselor what your rank is. I believe you have to be in the top 6% of graduating seniors to get an auto-admit from UTAustin. and I believe it is 10% at UTDallas and other UTs (I think there are 8 total undergrad).

Your question doesn't really make any sense because if you do not know your rank then how can you "just let a few people know it and tell me what to do?" You are getting down-voted because your question is not logical and since no one is a mind reader, they can't answer your question.

If you want to go to UT, then it is in your best interests, and not the job of anyone on here, nor your school teachers or admin., or family or friends to do the research to figure out what you need to do to apply to UT.

Good luck.
