hello! i am a current junior in high-school (class of 2023). I was hoping/wondering if anyone had any idea on what kind of colleges i could call 'targets.' here are some of my stats:
-college-prep high school
-53 volunteer hours (plan on doing more over summer)
-varsity diving team
-24 ACT (26 math, 22 science, 23 english, 24 reading)
-about a 2.9 cumulative GPA
hi! if i were you i'd aim for schools with larger acceptance rates as their requirements for application tend to be more inclusive of those with gpa's below 3.0. for example, uw bothell im pretty sure requires you to have a gpa above a 2.0 to be considered. though academics arent everything! i see you with the varsity diving! id suggest using college vines simulator to put in your stats and see what colleges are targets for you :)
A target will be a college your family can afford, start there.
Many public state schools can be targets if they are not T50 ranked. Are there any colleges in your state you might like to go to?
Do you want to keep diving?
