When making my college application should put if I made Deans or Presidents list
Answered

For my high school, I've made the Principles list for both of my 10th-grade semesters

I've made Dean's list for the semester in my 10th-grade year and made the President's List for the second semester in my community college classes.

Hopefully, I could continue these trends, but right now I want to know if this is something I could in my application.

I think it depends on what the academic cutoffs are for such commendations. Some schools have a 3.5 GPA cutoff for Deans list. So if you have 500 students, more than 100 get Deans list. That kind of award is just meaningless if you are applying to top colleges.

Now if you get nominated from your school to be a US Presidential Scholar and make it into the semi-finals or finals, that's something remarkable. Because that's either 161 or 625 students out of 3.9 million.

As a rule of thumb your commendation should be commensurate with kinds of admits that get into the schools you are applying to. So if you apply to top school like Duke or UChicago, 95% of the admit class is ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class. And their standardized test scores are in the 99% th percentile. So you want to put something impressive down, not just National honors Society, unless you were the Club President.
