3.3 unweighted gpa and a 3.6 weighted gpa can I get my gpa to at around a 3.8 gpa before college

Hi I am a freshman just finished with a 3.3 unweighted gpa and a 3.6 weighted gpa. I wasn't having a great year this year but I am pretty confident that I can approve to achieve all A's is it possible to finish high school with close to a 4.0 and get accepted to a medical school speccifically university of missouri Kansas city med school.

For you and any one else trying to make this calculation this is how you do this.

Freshman GPA = 2/7 grading periods before you apply RD to college so figure out your maximum GPA you add 2(3.3)+5(4.0)=26.6, then divide by 7. I get an answer of 3.8.

So the answer is yes, you can achieve a 3.8 by the time you apply to colleges if you get all As and take the same course load.

As far as applying to the BS/MD program at Univ of Kansas, it's also entirely possible. Here is a link to their requirements. While their avg. admit has a GPA of 3.9, there are many who have a lower GPA that get admitted. I think a 3.8 would put you in the running for sure.
