How to improve my GPA in time for college applications
Answered

I just finished my junior year with a 2.7 GPA

Worse than anything I've ever done. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve my GPA for college applications?

depending on if your school has a weighted GPA or not, take classes you know you can complete successfully with grades above average. I would suggest AP or Honors classes to increase a weighted GPA. However if you'd prefer the standard classes your school offers, take those. Take all the classes that interest you so you can be more engaged in class, get your friends to take classes with you so it can be more fun, get a study partner to prevent yourself from procrastinating or turning in assignments late, etc. There are many options to improve your GPA; unfortunately, it may be too late just because you're a senior, and college applications are due by the end of the first semester or early second semester, but it doesn't hurt to try!
