Should I submit my AP scores or not?
Answered

I got my AP scores back, but I only got a 5 on one of them. I got 3s on the rest. Should I self report the 3s or leave them out of my application entirely? Which option would be the most beneficial? (I got all A’s in the classes as well.)

For more prestigious schools I do not recommend submitting your threes

Hey!

Getting a 4 or a 5 is not necessarily the only thing colleges look at. Just showing that you tried some rigorous class work is good too. Even if you didn't ace it, you still passed, and clearly handled the coursework well if got A's in the classes. Admissions Officers understand bad days and test anxiety so they'll be understanding and interested that you tried.

Either way, I'm sure you'll do well. Good Luck!

I would self report the 3's if the colleges you are applying to will take the 3 for credit.

Otherwise, I would leave it out if the college only accepts 4's or 5's. So make sure you do your research on credit transfer for each schools you plan to apply to in the fall.

Good Luck :)
