Dual Enrollment vs Summer course at private university

I am taking courses at a local community junior college. They offer intro to engineering. The same or very similar course is offered at a private university as well.

I chose to do the course at local community college.

are the University credit courses weighted more than the community college course for admission purposes ?

Since this course is an introductory course, it should not matter where you take the class for your credits to transfer. Colleges will be impressed that you're taking a college class outside of your high school, not where you took the class. Taking it at a community college is most likely the better option as your classes will be cheaper.
