Admissions Advice

I have taken French 1&2 ; Do I need French 3

I took French 1 &2 already. French is the most challenging course ever I took. I can't imagine myself taking French 3. My friend says that will bad on my portfolio. I wanted get some advise on this.

It depends entirely on what colleges you apply to. If you are an average student applying to an average school say a Top 1000, then 2 years of a language is fine.

If you are trying to get into a Top 100 school then most of them will want 3 years of single foreign language. If you are trying to get in to Top Ivy or Elite like Stanford, then having 4 years or more including an AP language will serve you best.
