On the common app one of the activties i'm trying to put is football but what should i describe or say in the area where it asks you too describe the activty and recognition i was gonna put i was a freshman and JV team captain but dont know what else to say and what should i say for the area where it says postion/ leadership description.

Here's my recommendation for the whole activity entry:
Title: The name of your school's football team
Position/leadership: JV Team Captain
Description example: Led JV team during games, ran practices, and motivated team members to persevere and work together. (The goal here is to describe your responsibilities with action verbs - definitely change this example or add more responsibilities!)
