Question about Activity List!

Are you allowed to add contractions or shorthanded language in activity list description. For example: w for "with" or & for "and" ?

The admissions officers might not be aware of w for with but you can surely use &. Any contraction should be fine but you really need to be careful about shorthanded language. Before using short forms, think whether the admissions officers, who would probably be your parents' age, will understand.

i don't know about the w for with, but I know you can use & as well as a semicolon to separate ideas and use less space
